Request a Certificate of Recognition

Supervisor Joel Anderson welcomes the opportunity to recognize exceptional individuals, groups, businesses, and events in San Diego County’s District 2. Certificates are issued by the Supervisor to recognize significant occurrences and individuals making a difference in their community.

All requests for certificates must be submitted using the form below, preferably two weeks prior to the date needed. For questions and concerns, please email Mehri Sadri at Mehri.Sadri@sdcounty.ca.gov.

Anyone who is striving for excellence is worthy of a certificate of recognition. Here are some examples of what types of certificates have been awarded in the past:
  • Celebrations (graduations, significant birthdays, milestones)
  • Accomplishments of local community organizations 
  • Conferences and conventions
  • Individuals making a notable contribution to their community 
  • Recreational events
  • Organization milestones (in 5-year increments)

We ask that each certificate request must recognize individuals, groups, businesses, or events that are within Supervisor Anderson’s district. If you are unsure if your certificate request fulfills this requirement, please use this form to submit it and someone from Supervisor Anderson’s office will get back to you in a timely manner.

  • Campaigns or events contrary to county policies
  • Events or organizations with no locally-based chapters or direct relationship with the County of San Diego
