We are now accepting applications for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26! Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, with awards being made quarterly.
The Neighborhood Reinvestment Program provides grant funds to County departments, public agencies, and to non-profit community organizations for one-time community, social, environmental, educational, cultural or recreational needs.
The following links are provided to assist in completing your
application:
Dear Applicant,
Organizations like yours are the life blood of our communities. Your work stimulates tourism, promotes the economy, create jobs, and enhances quality of life. As we enter Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26, I want to share my funding priorities for your consideration.
My top priority is supporting organizations and projects in unincorporated areas of my district. While all applications will be considered, projects that benefit underserved, unincorporated communities in the County's 2nd District will be prioritized as these unincorporated areas do not receive any city support. Additionally, I will consider feedback from the community to ensure funding goes to projects with the greatest impact on my constituents.
Applicants that are applying for projects in the cities of San Diego, Poway, Santee, or El Cajon are strongly encouraged to seek funding from their respective city before applying to my grant programs. Grant funding from my office will be allocated one-to-one with the city your organization is in.
As you may be aware, the Board of Supervisor’s policy is that a recipient of CE grants should not fund more than 50% of its budget using CE funds. Please keep this limit in mind when determining the amount requested on your application.
Thank you for your understanding. If I can be of any additional assistance or if you have application questions regarding the application process, feel free to contact my office at (619) 219-2470 or through my website here.
Sincerely,
Supervisor Joel Anderson
Second District
