San Diego County Supervisor Joel Anderson, who last week wrote a letter to President Biden about the gravity of the situation for his constituents, said on Monday that he was relieved to hear that the El Cajon kids returned safely and “are back in school where they belong.”
“Our community is counting on the federal government to bring home our friends and neighbors and to make sure no one is left behind,” Anderson said.
