Anderson Alert: Fixing Our Roads
Excerpt from Jamul Shopper (p. 24)
Road Work Ahead! The Board approved over 100 miles of road resurfacing projects throughout our County-maintained roads systems at our June Board meeting.
One of the most common sentiments I hear from my constituents is the need to fix our roads, so I am thrilled to share that improvements are coming to several unincorporated communities.
Resurfacing projects will be taking place within the next one to two years throughout the County — including Jamul. Other communities seeing improvements include Alpine, Boulevard, Campo, Lake Morena, Crest, Descanso, Jacumba, Julian, Lakeside, Escondido, Pine Valley, Ramona, San Dieguito, and Valle de Oro.
While resurfacing is on the way, you can always report County road problems and potholes to the Department of Public Works by calling (877) 684-8000 or visiting bit.ly/RoadServiceRequest.
